Our Story

Venezuelan natives Lope and Maria met during their time in Miami for undergraduate studies at Florida International University. Maria studied interior design, and graduated with honors, while Lope applied his passion for business to sales and marketing. The couple returned to Venezuela to continue to live out their passions, settled down and had three beautiful daughters. In the early 2000s, Lope and Maria returned to South Florida with their family, and relocated in Boca Raton, Florida. In 2007, the decision to utilize all aspects of the couple’s passions and skills was made, and the two acquired Designer Resource Center. Maria’s passion for interior design coupled with Lope’s vast history of working on marketing and sales initiatives for multiple clients has been critical in the continued success of the showroom space. DRC benefits from not only the combined expertise and experience of the couple, but the fresh, young and creative ideas of their three daughters, making DRC a true family business. The wide range of inputs and specialized skills brought to DRC and its customer service that resembles familial ties has contributed to making DRC the showroom of choice for interior designers.
